As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I realize that many of our deepest pains, anxieties, and self-limiting beliefs can go way back in our lives. As a result, we can often be living lives that don’t resemble our ideals or heartfelt dreams because of discouragements from outside or within. I’ve been in your shoes in the past, seeking to find help from a Christian counselor – yet all I found were people who relied on their label as a Christian and their knowledge of science to counsel. This led me to strive to be more, with God’s help. Through my professional training, I sought to find out how the Bible informs our mental health and psychological well-being so I could give my clients a solid foundation of truth to use against any of their mental health and relational challenges.
